As a make up enthusiast, I follow this handsome man and makeup guru, Manny G. also known as MannyMUA. He is well known for his makeup videos and tutorials he does on youtube. He is also the first male makeup artist for the known make up brand, Maybelline! He is 25 years old living the dream he honestly would have never had imagined. Along with all of this success, he is able to do a career that he loves and can be himself in front of a whole crowd.
I am not very popular, but I know that there will always be the bad apples in a good audience. Especially if you are someone who shares half of your life on social media - it is certainly easy for haters to send and leave nasty comments. It is literally disgusting, but for some reason - many accept those nasty vibes as a part of life.
As for me, this will not slide. So here is an open letter to verified twitter account, Matt Walsh.
Dear Matt Walsh,
First off, your tweet was rude, horrible and very inconsiderate. You're a comedian, so of course you know how to take a lot of shit from many people - but don't forget your manners. According to your wikipedia page, you have been married since 1996 and have three kids. I bet your spouse and children are so proud of your behavior. Especially your children, because this is the type of comments you want them to express to others who appear as the beautiful MannyMUA. Yeah you may feel like you're protecting your children from this "non-sense". But let me tell you what you're really doing - spreading the act of being close minded.
You are part of the generation that has seen it all. From standing up for different rights to even seeing how this whole nation has evolved! You have seen the movements that make America greater. Remember the time you were for a certain movement in your lifetime? Remember you wanted a certain change for America? Remember you wanted something greater? If none of this applies to you - what have you been doing, open your eyes, where the heck have you been?
As a "die-hard" subscriber to Manny, let me tell you - you shamed the wrong person. Already 25 years old and his popularity is off the roof! He is so polite, kind, loving, well-rounded and hell of a funny guy. I mean, you're a comedian! If you met him in real life, you would have probably been laughing with him and not at him. But if what you are really concerned with his appearance, let me be the first to tell you that he is hot even without makeup. And that is coming from a lesbian woman.
I bet, if you did not see this picture of Manny on twitter and stumbled upon his hot self without makeup, you probably would have said nothing. You wouldn't even notice him because his picture would have been as normal as it comes. But lucky enough for you - you stumbled on a picture of a warrior. A warrior that defies all tracks of normal and closed minded people like you, who do not approve of this behavior/appearance.
Lastly - why would you ever bring up his dad? You probably slept on the wrong side of the bed that day because you obviously know parents are not to be messed with when it comes to their children. You should know that, right? You literally disturbed a father that is already a better father than you, hands down. The difference between you and him are the following: (1) he is more accepting and loving (2) very open minded to the idea that his son slays (3) does not need your petty opinion (4) is proud of his son no matter what and (5) is the best father figure to not only Manny, but everyone else in this world.
So thank you, Matt Walsh for shining light upon people like you who exist in our world. Not only do you take us steps back in our general movement of change - but you also give many a chance to reflect and understand that close-minded people, like yourself, still exist. You will never phase us, Matt Walsh. You are just another bad apple in this crowd. All we have to do is throw your pettiness & negative energy out the door. Manny is stronger than you think he is, and probably stronger than yourself. So if you don't like Manny, don't fucking watch him soar above us all. It will probably make you more angry if you continue to see him succeed.
